Science sometimes says it is close to understanding everything. For sure, our human know how and use of it has exploded, but in many ways uncontrollably, so that our impact on earth, which has hitherto posed a threat to everything else on our planet both living and inanimate, now poses a threat to our continued existence.

It is our ability to record and pass on our knowledge base that makes us humans apparently superior to other species. I use the word apparently because, if you stand back and observe the work activities of modern humans and compare them with the activities of other species, it is we who are clearly the more stressed and least clear about our purpose on earth.
Whilst other species innately know that they exist to serve their body desires, humans have increasingly let economics and money dictate their lives. We used to cooperate in groups that served our individual needs but now spend much time serving remote financial interests. Growing an economy might lead to higher living standards, but for most it means a lower quality of life. Surely our know how could give us more of that beach scene above?
God didn’t create us. We like everything else on earth are a particulate structure. We evolved over near 4 billion years from the desires resident in what we regard as non living particles. Particles cooperated and evolved as life forms because, although not ever lasting, they better served their desires, enabling them to more efficiently get and process environmental energy. Yes, we, like other living structures exist, not to satisfy the economic desires of someone else but, to serve the desires of our particulate structures. When we fail as a structure our particles and their desires live on in other structures.
The science model I am describing here sees atomic particles as having living desires that result in them taking actions in response to energies in their surround. It far better explains the why of everything than existing models, which see atomic particles and their structures as being pushed around by external forces. It can better explain gravity, classical laws of physics and much of quantum mechanics.
Examples of Life in the non living

All object particles, including those in the earth, are energy linked in over 99.99% space. The particles in any above earth object desire earth radiations. When free to do so they move individually to secure their desires and so cause the motion of the whole object.
The earth does not attract the object and likewise our sun does not attract the earth via a gravity force field. The earth’s energy linked particles moving freely through space desire sun radiated energies but not to excess. Its particles move to absorb the sun radiated photon energies and that is why the earth moves in orbit around it.
A cricket ball flees from a bat, not because it is forced to but because its particles want to retain their established structure. They may take on some additional energy in the process but they then give it up to the environment. For the same reason protons in the large hadron collider flee from the light speed energies intent on distorting them.
Charge would have electrons crash into proton rich nuclei but they don’t. Instead electrons find locations where they can best serve protons with energy they have obtained from the environmental energy. The proton desires are of a rapidly alternating want/don’t want nature. It is how they and particles generally regulate their energy flows and why all particles vibrate and stay at a distance from one another.
Neutrons are far from neutral. In what we term radioactive decays they can create electrons and protons when nucleon energy desires are in need of improving. A reverse of the process can happen when nuclei are getting energy in excess. Is that not evidence of particle life?
Photons don’t carry forces that attract or repulse matter at a distance. Particles of matter are ever deciding what actions they will take; they consider all possibilities as presented to them by their surround. That is why in quantum mechanics, a probability of an action, can only be had by including all possibilities, including those that won’t happen.
A model that sees atomic particles as having living desires is clearly a change that impacts our view of everything. It brings life to hitherto non-living things, it provides an explanation for gravity, it enables a reconciling of classical behaviours with particle behaviours and helps us understand quantum and cosmological behaviours. Most importantly it reveals that we exist to serve our particle desires.
